Irene river is located next to smuts Museum and one of the most beautiful 5 kilometer run/walk in along one of the cleanest stretches of river in Gauteng. It’s doggy friendly and also has the route for the 10 and 15k runners up the Koppie that is rather demanding. A trail runners dream and a good test for road runners. The restaurant is a friendly establishment with great food for hungry runners after your exercise.
