Wingate Park Country Club
Situated in the eastern suburbs (Moreletapark) of Pretoria, Wingate Park Country Club offers a facility steeped in history. The grounds are blessed with old trees, flowering shrubs and a variety of birdlife. Wingate Park Country Club offers a magnificent golf course and practice facilities, and the grounds also include five bowling greens, four tennis courts as well as a road-running club - Recently we also added Padel courts - a true country club! Wingate Park Country Club was officially established in July 1947. The first social event was a picnic , which more than a 1000 people attended. Horse riding was established in 1948, and later that year 6 tennis courts were built. The bowling greens were added and cricket and a swimming pool followed. In April 1951 the golf course was opened for play. Today Wingate park Country Club is ranked in the top 50 courses in the country.
